Developing Leaders – Where growth is produced

Developing Leaders are groups of ten members committed to supporting both the professional and personal growth of their members. Members come from various non –  competing industries and create trusting and confidential environment for learning and growth. Trust and confidentiality are critical to the success of the group. Our Groups provide a safe environment for members to present their ideas and concerns. Members of the Developing Leaders group pose possible solutions to each other’s challenges through discussion, coaching, mentoring and follow up in the following format:

Membership Eligibility

To be eligible for membership in a Developing Leaders Group, a prospective member needs to be either a business owner or a senior leader in an existing business: Annual Revenue up to $5MM.
Employee headcount less than 10.
Business Leader experience level - less than 5 years running a company, or GM/VP level position in an established organization.

Developing Leaders Board

There are six (6), half-day meetings per year and a two-day annual retreat. Resource allocation.
Each meeting ends with some form of social interaction.
Each meeting includes either an educational component presented by the Group Chair, or a guest speaker to enhance individual learning and personal or business growth opportunities

Coaching and Educational Services

Development of life strategies leading to improved work-life balance.
Leadership and team development, and strategic planning.
Each board session ends with some form of social interaction.

One on One (1X1) Coaching Sessions

Each Member receives up to six (6) one-hour one-on-one coaching session per year with the Group Chair. The purpose of these sessions is to provide executive coaching to explore a member’s issues and opportunities, and a platform for accountability for actions needed to improve performance.
